2.8 Policing

2.8 Policing.
# Generally, Ford ST and RS Ownerswill operate a three strike policy commencing 26th February 2008. A community member may be warned up to three times after which a ban may be put in place of between 1 to 7 days. This is at the sole discretion of the Administrator or moderator dealing with the incident.
# Arguing with Administrators or moderators, whether verbally or written, after having received a warning may lead to an immediate additional warning, or a temporary ban (as a cooling off period). If any additional warning that is given causes a member to exceed three strikes, a ban may be put in place.
# Users who feel they have been unfairly warned are welcome to contact a member of the sites administration team, who will review the matter and rule accordingly. Administrator decisions are final.
# Any attempt to circumvent a temporary ban will lead to that ban being made permanent. Circumvention includes re-registering under a non-banned username; changing IP addresses to evade an IP ban, registering a new email account of evade an email ban.
# One exception to the three strike rule applies when members contact admin or moderators personally (via any method) and post insulting, abusive, indecent or vulgar material. Such users may be subject to an immediate permanent ban.
# Permanent bans are a last resort and thought is given before implementing them. While RS-Mania may consider lifting permanent bans from time to time this is a rare occurrence.
